Late night conversation between Camilia and Luz (Based off of “Class of 2013” by Mitski)

Lying late in night, a mother holding on to her daughter caressing her like she always had done all these years. Yet after getting her actual Luz back from the demon realm, Camilia couldn’t help but hold onto her. Even if she felt a bit of anger for her daughter running away from home, it was more of a rush of relief that her baby was safe now and with her.

“I want you to learn to take care of yourself, but don’t run away like that mija,” Camilia said, her tired eyes settling on her daughter’s soft face while her hand softly moved a loose strand of hair away, “Cuando yo muere…”

Luz could only nod, hearing the words had been so normal yet depressing to say the least. Yet settling in her mom’s arms made her grow sleepy. As any person would, her thoughts began to scramble around in her head while trying to pay attention to her mother’s talk. But she couldn’t help but think what if… before she can stop herself from asking she blurted out:

“Hey mama..” she croaked out, “What if… I die before you?”

The question seemed to make her mother get taken back, looking at her baby with shock. Luz only looked at her, feeling her lips quiver as she tried holding back her own tears.

Whether the two liked it or not, the world was filled with so many different things, nowadays neither of them knew what their now expanded world was going to throw at them - in the human realm and demon realm.

“Aye mija, don’t say stuff like that..” Camilia said, her voice soft, slightly broken as she tried not to imagine seeing the same life she raised be gone before her.

“I’m sorry mami.. I.. It just came to me.. Sorry..” Luz replied, frowning as she saw how upset her mom got.

Forgot to post this and I dont know how to like censor it on here, but im trying. So its a bit cringe... also not THAT bad??

Even more its so much worse with the new episode so I have perfect timing gng hahaha
