Love the humor in the Drakara pancake given the plot development.
Not that I'd be doing pancake art, but I bet it'd be a chocolate cinnamon pancake to represent her dark and fire faerie backgrounds.
The eyes are definitely chocolate chips! It is a little thick for a pancake... I've always wanted to try a rice cooker pancake, though!

Land Lubber
A fruity, yet potent drink that will soon have you singing sea shanties.
This small variation on an AMF is perfect for a hot afternoon in the sun!
Ingredients
1/2 oz gin (I used indigo for color)
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz run
1/2 oz blanco tequila
1/2 oz blue Curacao
2 oz sweet and sour mix
Lime Jarritos, to top (sprite is used in the original)
Recipe
Shake the liquors and sweet and sour mix in a shaker with ice. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with lime soda. Use a bar spoon to mix carefully.

I never actually finished a single run of Baldur's Gate 3.
I have restarted many, many times, and I have gotten very far on each playthrough. I just hit a point of "oh, what if I played as *this* instead!" and rather than just changing classes, I start fresh.
I want to create the Land Lubber, a gourmet food from the Golden Dubloon on Krawk Island.
Here's what I have to work with:

Compared to an Adios Motherfucker, it's a shade darker. The AMF is essentially a long island with sweet and sour mix + blue Curacao. It would certainly hit the potent part of the description, but not the fruity part. I might replace the run with coconut rum, and substitute pineapple soda for the seltzer water. I worry the extra yellow will make the drink green ish.

Sorry for the lack of posts; I've been lurking everyday. Just can't find the energy lately. On the plus side, I bought MSG from the Asian Market. If my mom knew, she'd throw a fit! I have no reason to believe she's heard (or would believe) that old study saying MSG is horrible for you was debunked.

Camouflage Poogle Fizzy Drink
What a wonderful combination of fizz and fruit!
Inspired by this wonderful post, this is a simple gin fizz, made purple by the combination of pea flower syrup, lemon juice, and indigo gin!
The negg in the picture is represented by the egg white in the cocktail!
To make my butterfly pea flower syrup, I did a 2:1 ratio of sugar and water. While the syrup cooks, I added a tea bag of pea flowers I got online.
Ingredients
2 oz indigo gin
3/4 oz pea flower syrup (could use simple syrup, won't be as purple)
3/4 oz lemon juice
1 egg white
Ice
Soda water to top (the more used, the more foam)
Strainer for your cocktail shaker
Recipe
In a shaker, add the gin, syrup, lemon juice, and egg white. Give it some good shakes.
Add ice, continue to shake it to cool it
Strain it into a coupe glass (or whatever. I don't have one either.)
Add soda water. It will fizz up the egg whites more, too.
Final Product
First time making an egg white cocktail! Not the last, either! It is SMOOTH!
Jhudoras Cheesecake
Rich... decadent, and just a little bit sinister.
I made this recipe with fake cream cheese. It was good!
I followed King Arthur Baking's recipe, but switched out half of the milk for homemade blackberry syrup.
To do this, I added a cup of blackberries to a pot with a little water and part of the sugar, muddling the mixture until it boiled for a couple minutes then let it cool.
I used oat milk, so be aware the citrus content can make the dairy curdle, so have all your ingredients ready to go when you add your wets and drys to your beaten cream cheese.

Ever made phyllo dough from scratch? I did. Exactly once. Never again.
This is just spanakopita. Neopets has 3 different variations of this. I just so happened to make the classic for dinner tonight!
I literally just used Allrecipes. I did substitute the ricotta with oat milk and tempered the eggs with it to thicken it up.
Final Product
Been too busy for recipes lately. I want to make the chocolate blackberry cheesecake but life has been busy and I have no energy after work.
For example, when we purchased a home (still can't believe it) last year, it had an ailing lemon tree I babied. Now I'm drowning in lemons. Here's one I picked yesterday:

Fail: Angelic Ice Lolly
The perfect reward for a well behaved Neopet.
I had been putting off this one. The ice lollies had been sitting in the freezer for a couple weeks, waiting for a dredge in white chocolate and coconut.
Results were...mixed. and then it all fell off on the first bite.a
I made what was essentially an ice cream batter.
3 c oat milk heated with 2/3 c of sugar. Slowly added to 6 egg yolks and some vanilla and salt. Cooled and then poured into the mold.
I have never owned a popsicle mold before, neither have I dipped ice cream in chocolate. I added some shortening which would make it runnier, and still firm up as it cooled. It slid right off.
I had to resort to mixing the white chocolate and coconut into a paste that I could apply on one side, freeze, then apply it to the back side.
Not as pretty, not as white, but it has the flavor profile I was looking for.

This month will be a celebration of justifying the purchas a cheap silicone popsicle mold Terror Mountain's cold cuisine!
This first one isn't super out-there, but it is still delicious!
Ingredients
One box white cake mix
4 egg yolks
3 c milk/oat milk
1/2 c + sprinkles
Popsicle mold
Recipe
In a sauce pan, pour in half of your milk and the bag of cake mix. Mix well, then add the remaining half of milk.
In an unreactive bowl, whisk your egg yolks.
Heat the sauce pan on medium heat, whisking constantly. It will thicken and may cook on the bottom if you don't scrape the bottom.
Once hot, add a little bit of the mixture to the eggs while whisking the eggs constantly. Gradually add more of the milk mixture until half of the milk mix is added.
Return to the sauce pan and continue to heat until the mixture thickens a little more. Turn off heat.
Let it cool! Aid the cooling process by continuously whisking the mix. Take breaks as needed.
Add sprinkles just before putting it into the popsicle mold.
A funnel is handy here. Fill the mold, pop the mold in the freezer.
