▄︻芫═───💥 episode 1 sucks ▄︻芫═───💥 liore was the perfect opener & setup for themes and characters & a fitting place for pieces of elrics' backstory reveal. no need for a backstory episode right off the bat ▄︻芫═───💥 adapting the early chapters that were already adapted in fma 03 isn't bad; you can't expect all viewers to 1) have watched fma 03 and 2) be happy with missing on canonical stories ▄︻芫═───💥 one pannel gags/asides are fine in manga where you control the speed of reading, in anime they break the flow
