Now where I got the idea for brat taming was seeing the few times (in 03 and brotherhood) where Al shows he has a sarcastic/sassy side, like in CoS when he remarks if Ed was always so short. I wish we saw more of his snarky/meaner side in canon but oh well.

SO back to post-CoS stuff, I think he'd enjoy leaning into being the spoiled little brother and let the sarcastic/bratty side show more with teasing and challenging remarks because he loooves any attention his big brother gives him, he missed him so much when they were separated, he craves every bit of Ed whether its physical touch or even just Ed looking at him. He just wants to be with Ed 24/7. So like, if they're in bed together and Ed has to go somewhere he'd say some shit like "I guess I'll stay here alone :(" and Ed can't resist Al's pouty face so he stays 💗 Al also doing shit like hiding Ed's things or purposefully not doing what he's told, pulling back when Ed leans in to kiss him and making Ed pursue him, sassy eyerolls and playfully snarky comments, just to get a rise from him. So Ed's gotta keep him in line with things like not allowing him to speak for a set amount of time (if he's making sassy remarks), repeating a phrase like "I will follow brother's instructions" if he disobeys, or physically handling Al like grabbing him if he's pulling away from a kiss (can you tell I really love brat taming and coming up with scenarios?)

I also really love the idea of him putting Al in some sensory deprivation for punishment...recreating the feeling of being in that armor....putting him in bondage or making him hold a position for a specific amount of time with blindfolds, gags, earplugs. Yeah I've spent way too much time thinking about this--

Since these two are terrible at properly communicating emotions and needs I don't think they'd ever like, formally make a kink negotiation sheet or explicitly say they're a brat and tamer, but by pure coincidence they wind up in that dynamic and they're freaky af so they enjoy it.

THIS IS REALLY REALLY GOOD ANON WE ARE FROLICKING IN THE MEADOW TOGETHER. a moment that immediately comes to mind for me during the movie is when theyre finally reunited and al goes completely unprompted "guess you still havent lost your touch" while grinning at ed and blushing. he wants to get fucked so bad it makes him look stupid. i feel like theres some good snarky al moments in canon too... i really love the moment after ed promises that next time he makes winry cry it will be tears of joy, and al goes "that was so sweet big brother!" like a little shit. this is so good fuck how have i not considered this.

cos really drives home how much al is just obsessed with ed, and how that can manifest. it truly makes a lot of sense that he'd want to try and get as many reactions out of ed as possible, and prove ed is just as obsessed with him. he could melt into ed's arms whenever he kisses him like his instincts want, but wouldnt it be much more satisfying to hold out and make edward show him physically how much he wants it? he could jump on ed the second ed shows a sign of wanting sex, but wouldnt it be more fun to make his brother tell him what he wants? ed might get a bit frustrated with that too and come off as more angry or commanding than he meant to... which obviously makes alphonse outrageously horny. the fact that cos ed has been forced to mature much faster too so their maturity gap is even more significant... ough. but on the other hand i do think that being with al would reignite some of ed's old spitfire personality, so when you combine those two aspects he could actually be a half convincing dom. maybe. almost.
