it definitely doesn't fit anywhere near as much as the coin op in my building's basement, but that machine couldn't so much as clean a single dish towel if that was all it was asked to do. so while technically i could fit a whole week's worth of laundry in one load, it wouldn't come clean anyway. i'd tried so many additives and products, and was honestly starting to think i'd developed a medical issue the way i always reeked of BO.

nope. my clothes just weren't getting cleaned. the shirt i wore all day yesterday still smelled 95% fresh when i took it off. and i was finally able to wash maple's blanket, and the sweater that came home from the office months ago.

like sure the coin op only cost a few quarters to use, and this machine was definitely a pretty penny, but trekking down to the basement to use a disgusting shared washer and keeping a stock of quarters on hand really just isn't fucking tenable.

and also. fucking. this washer hooks up to my kitchen sink (same as my countertop dishwasher!) which means i get to use hot water if i want to ;_; which would have saved me so much sanity during the Great Fleasco back in june.

i saw some really cute jewelry today that made me want to get the lip ring i had a decade ago repierced.

i do not want to pay money to get it repierced.

i still have my old lip studs.
