I been to new school's & office buildings Held in new hands, touched similarly.. But you unwrapped me when I was brand new. What happened to me? I mean.. in two years, two car accidents later, leaving my mama house, being comfortable to feeling broke, leaving fucked up people, the list goes on.. Can y'all tell I’m hype? 😂It takes a certain type of anger to spark change & I’m PISSED 👸🏾. We’re only 9 days in but my cousin was just telling me 2017 had been treating her SOOO well .. in my mind I’m like “🙄 girrllll not yet .. we barely in here”, when I looked at it I realized ,“HELL YEAH”. This is about be a year of nothing but growth & being uncomfortable in the best way! I’m pushing boundaries even more. I’m adulting & I’m speaking THE FUCK up for those without voices but especially myself. It will not be easy & that’s the beauty in all. When I get to where I’m going I promise I won’t forget the days like this. I was complaining but I realized I’m blessed to know some struggles . Y'all may not hear me now but I promise..

I don't have a job rn.. I've just been selling my books & performing.. The other day I spoke with my grandmother (one of my biggest supporters 😌) & she asked me why not get a job? I responded simply with, "because I believe in myself too much & don't want to invest in someone else's dream more than my own. I'll support but i need my time more than they do." -- Don't ever say "I believe in you but.." To someone. You either believe in them & support or you don't. I'm not knocking those with jobs .. I dig it & may end up getting a part time one eventually but believe in your dreams enough to understand the sacrifices you may have to make. Don't be discouraged by the "No's" because the "Yes's" feel a million times better & should be enough to keep you going. I will forever be a little kid holding on to the mindset that I can be anything I want to be. (I say that because when we're little we are told that quote & as we become older & believe it we are shamed for it sometimes.) No matter what you're parents, society or whoever may tell you, you can do whatever you want . #youngentrepreneur just trying to make a difference ✌🏾️❤️🙂 P.s. 2:32am.. And I'm right back here again.. This is a time for thoughts & prayers.. What do you pray for? What are your most vulnerable thoughts? .. I've got a million & 1 but here are some.. I pray for my people I pray for woman to be equal.. I pray my father's okay even though I don't speak to him.. I pray the nigga who raped me will see me shining & it eats at him I pray for little black boys & girls I pray they know their more than sexualized undervalued trendy skin.. They are strength & beauty.. I haven't journaled in a while, I don't get all to personal w the internet but this may be the new me. I pray these fake photographers stop prying on young women .. Hitting them up in their DMs like "you're my muse.. I know you're confused ..but come on here's a free photoshoot if you do what I ask you" Weirdos.. Then preach about their love for women when sick twisted sociopathic tendencies are all that's behind the lends you see.. I'm praying for my black men. Rather my boys, that stopped playing with toys & start playing with hearts . Never known too much love & unable to express the art .. I'm praying for my females with low self esteem the ones out here fighting for acceptance in those empty.. The ones hating on others & innerly envying .. Trying to find themselves & struggling Tonight I'm praying for the music industry, Some songs have lost words to screams & hums .. I swear I lose a few brain cells every time I listen to young thug. Tonight I'm praying for your inner child.. I pray you never get too lost in this world full of mess & Tonight I'm praying for our "rulers" .. Praying for a country so informed but yet clueless Puppets in chairs putting up a big show while everyone eats fluoride & barely puts up a fuss.. I'm praying for people going through wars Blood everywhere .. Dead bodies on the floor I'm praying for those without food to eat Looked upon as outcast Without shoes on their feet I pray to again believe in chosen unconditional love I pray the guy I'm rockin with doesn't fuck up And if you are & if you aren't offended by this poem I didn't execute it well enough.. SOMETHING LIKE CARAMEL He loved my physical imperfections.. My skinny girl curves Kissed on my stretch marks & even liked that ugly line on my stomach, You know the one pregnant woman get? The one I hated wearing crop tops because of.. Because it was like a happy trail so I viewed it as both promiscuous & offensive. But he loved it.. And them, my physical imperfections. And for a while I was impressed until I realized it didn't matter whether he liked them or not.. I mean, It was rare but who gives a fuck. I loved them ! And I'd love them with or without him.. I want someone to love me so so deeply I want someone that won't let me go to sleep mad And do those little things.. Though "chivalry is dead" I want someone that'll reach first to grab my hand And ACTUALLY make it up if ever he does some inconsiderate shit Bring me flowers! -- He was passionate in bed .. I mean gottdamn ! When I say he loved me I mean LOVED me Yet.. He still just called it "fucking". I want someone that is so crazy about me I mean obsessed Okay.. Not super crazy 😐 I do need my space but gottdamn Ughhhhhhh Y'all know what I mean? The kind of love that Romeo & Juliet had.. I mean before the suicide.
