I asked her why I was in the hospital and she told me I had been in a coma. I checked to see how long my hair was and it was a few inches longer than before, so I believed her.

“Join what?”

Contrary to certain horror movie concepts, when you die in a dream it doesn’t mean you’re going to die in real life. Though dreams in which the dreamer actually dies are somewhat uncommon, there are many common dreams in which the dreamer is confronted with the impending death of themselves or others.

When a person dreams that they are dying, it’s often a symbol of transformation or transition in their waking life. Something in the dreamer’s life may be coming to an end, such as a job, relationship, or a phase of life. This symbol can also signify internal changes on an emotional and spiritual level. If the dreamer has a fear of death, a dream where they die could be the subconscious’ way of trying to reconcile this fear and process it.

If a dreamer is told that they are dying in a dream this could be a manifestation of them feeling pressured by others to make an important decision. This decision is likely one that will have a significant impact on the dreamer’s life.
