tbh i think my favorite thing about love live is that it has every potential of being this fandom made up of sweaty greasy otaku boys that draw gross art and sexualize all the characters and yet the vast majority of the fandom is made up of lesbian memers who are only really capable of nicknaming honoka “honkers” and making everything gay and i think that’s beautiful

Me and my fiancée have been together two years, and living together for a year and nine months, and we are getting married in less than a year. Today, we found out one of her family members had thought this whole time that we were just close friends- that I had moved 300 miles to find a job up here so we could share a house, and she was ‘happy we had maintained a friendship this long’. We even sent her a wedding invite, and she thought it was a friendship wedding. We are the ultimate gal pals!

i love this so much i dont know where to start - the comedy itself - the commentary on ‘what is art’ - further on what is art: the viewers are interpreting this as art, but the intention of the “artist” was not actually art, so is it art or not? who gets to decide, the viewers or the creator? - the act of placing the glasses and watching the response (and the response itself being that the viewers treated the glasses as art) as performance art like is this a critique of postmodernism? does the critique betray itself since (one could argue) the viewers interpreting the glasses as art makes them art? or is that so ridiculous that it doesn’t matter? i could go on
