Ache

I always think of the past and not so much what would've been more so what has happened so far. I think that everything happens for a reason. I've always held this sentiment to the question of would you rather go to the past or see the future. I would never want to change my past because it's made me who I am today and I think that I am a much better person because of everything that's happened.

This is to say that no one else matters but her now. She's the person in my life who chose to stay and I thank her so much for it. She's made me better and I enjoy every moment I get to spend with her. I've been very lucky to get to experience what I have with her as many experiences with her are still my first. I'm very lucky to have her in my life because she is truly my other half. Everything we do we do together and I value her efforts in showing interest in the things that I enjoy even though she may not understand or fully enjoy them herself. I've spent the past 7 months with her and I will be spending the rest of my life going forward with her still and forever. I've made peace with my past and yes to do that i have thought of the people in my past. That chapter of my life is over. Long over.

It would be nice to speak to you again. Bittersweet as it may be.
