“Yo man, you ain’t hirin’?” The clerk at the music shop shook his head, causing the teen to slump his shoulders. Looking for a job wasn’t easy - especially not for an aimless 15, wait, was he 16 now?...Whatever-year-old - and he wasn’t sure what to do.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, he walked by some dude with headphones and some rad hair. He couldn’t be Phones...

Pin in hand, Beat burst a white balloon with a blast and skidded to a stop in front of a redheaded girl. “Yo- Shoot-”

His skateboard came to a stop with a skid as he looked around. He didn’t remembering moving, but apparently he had, and when he woke up...Well, apparently he was in another game! Again!

“Yo-” He pointed to the first person he saw, sliding his skateboard under his arm and jogging up.

“You know what’s goin’ on here? ‘Cause I ain’t got a clue!” Rubbing the back of his head, the teen seemed almost oblivious to some super-powered chaos going on a few blocks over.

She’s trying her best to figure things out on the spot, but it’s hard to think when one is on a very wobbly wheeled object.

Maya puts her other foot on the board, but they’re not in the same position that the boy had them in. They’re randomly turned in different directions, and she can already feel her balance leaving her.

As she moves forward trying her best to stay on, something catches under the wheel. She hears a loud skid before…

Ah, she’s never flown before. But there she goes, flying face-first into a nearby bush.

“Yoooo, mad sick wipeout.” He ran over, a bit concerned, but still trying to put on a grin. When Rhyme was little, it was always better to pretend it was chill, things were cool, no reason to worry.

Helping her out of the bush, he offered a broad grin.
