people who aren't as watchful for TERFs interacting with them on here may not have observed this directly, so I think it bears saying: there are in fact a lot of TERF blogs on here that
(1) describe themselves as some combination of Materialist, Marxist, Communist, Proletarian, Socialist-Feminist, Intersectional, Decolonial, Womanist, etc.
(2) do not belong to a goyishe white person*
this does not contradict the profound Whiteness of Radical Feminism, nor that its original expounders were uniformly white, that the bulk of their adherents still are white people in the imperial core, or e.g. that the TERF “LGB Alliance” group photo looks like this lmao
TERFs have made great efforts to export their ideology. the UK TERFs in particular have exported their ideology and forms of organizing around the world. and transmisogyny is already hegemonic—they are only wielding and reinforcing existing forms of oppression, in alliance with stronger reactionary formations like the religious right, fascists, manosphere types, etc.—so it is not too difficult for them to find people to take up their work both internationally and internally within oppressed communities
this should all be obvious but it's something that I've repeatedly seen people stumble over (“but how could so-and-so be a TERF??” or even just “how could they be a transmisogynist”) because they mistake the petty bourgeois and racist character of Radical Feminism for literally every TERF being identically privileged. and from what I have seen, also because they don't care to know about the harm that marginalized TERFs do to the trans women around them
(*I include ‘goyishe’ here only because I've seen it stuck on the front along with a bunch of other qualifiers like Cis Straight Abled Etc. ‘goyishe’ is particularly odd to me as a specific qualifier to throw in there since I have had to block a number of jewish TERFs on this website alone. even fucking Adrienne Rich was a white jewish woman, as is the person behind Libs Of TikTok. the fact that many cis women in my (jewish) family have physical features demonized in trans women, like facial hair growth, does not make this any less true)
