like. the most asinine thing about child hatred is the fact that they are people!!!! they're just very young people!! you all want mercy and grace and compassion when you fuck up but you cant offer any of that to people who haven't even been on earth long enough to know how it works! you don't want kids in restaurants because of their "loud iPads and crying" you don't want them on planes you don't want them on public transport you don't want them outside you don't want them to exist and I find that so extremely scary that people genuinely think this way of children. you would demand they lose the little human rights they have if you could

It frustrates me because as a parent of a young one the only reason that drove me to give her the iPad in public spaces is so she won't disturb other people. It's kind of sad.

I remember when I went on a plane with my baby, to visit my aging grandmother, the looks I would get. Even a passenger was surprised she slept through the whole plane, and I was so anxious about whether she would cry during the flight.

But if I heard other kids crying or screaming I'd tune it out no problem. Doesn't bother me, I know it's a part of life.

I made fairly significant progress, four pieces sold. I'm now have $2300 of $4500. The way my brain works, breaks it down this way I need to sell 4 22"x 30" paintings by this time tomorrow. I'm scared I'm already being seen as a problem tennant.

2024 has been devasting so far. My uncle died on New Year's Day. I had enormous trouble pulling sales together, so my rent was late. The furnace died and took 10 days to been fixed. My hypersensitivity towards smells has reached a crisis point. I haven't been able to properly do laundry since August and the variety of dog and elderly people smells make it so I have a headache, literally, all the time. I'm loosing my mind. Which provided an oppurtunity for a handyman to scam me out of $600, in an attempt to install a washer and dryer.

My rent is $4500 and the estimate for the washer and dryer is $1300. So I need to make sales for that by February 1st. I can't be late again, I can't lose my housing again and I can't survive with a nonstop headache.
