please be nice to me

the more you treat someone’s words and feelings as worthless, the more they see themselves as lesser and lesser, until only imprints of themselves remain

it’s jarring to remember how most of your identity revolves around being quiet, compliant, or out of the way.

im a fool who survives on scraps of kindness from strangers, and I keep hoping it will fill the emptiness inside me

i wish i could fight back. i wish i could be mean and selfish like you. but loud voices make me break and let you win.

i get nauseous thinking about my childhood. its a scary time, and you’ll think of it fondly only if you got lucky enough to have adults care for you. 

words that mean nothing to you are ripping me to shreds

bad days are weighing me down again

its so hard to act like im okay

things around me feel wrong

i want to hide away from the world. it hurts too much to be real.

i dont remember what it was like before

even now, i cant say what’s in my head out loud. 

i hate how my OWN feelings are out to hurt me too, even when you arent here to do it yourself

i dont know what to do when you yell at me :(
