I really need to update this bio because itโs 4 YEARS OLD and I need to draw more of him in general, but I feel like this still serves as a decent ref for Creole, Bruceโs very good friend whoโs often the voice of reason and someone he can talk to and confide in when he needs to. Creole is human-sized. In his main mer form and human/half human form he is a 5โ9 Creole works at a restaurant as a waiter when in his mer form, and also likes to run a tiki bar when in human form. He knows a lot more about humans than Bruce does, mainly because he can actually leave the ocean and poor Bruce cannot (he can form legs but they donโt work well). Creole loves to read about pretty much anything, he also plays the ukulele. Because he has such an approachable personality, most people quickly feel like they can talk to him like an old friend, and it also helps that he often gives good advice and is good at listening.
Bruce helped Creole break free from a fishing net. I keep bouncing back and forth between the idea of him finding him captured on a fishermanโs ship and helping freeing him from some jerky fishermen, or simply finding him very badly tangled up in one and helping him get free by using his trusty sharp teefs. Either way, Bruce seems to have a thing for saving peopleโฆ Which is SO WEIRD. Itโs almost like heโs a bigโol softy or somethingโฆ PFFFT! As if!
