A buffalo takes shape through layered planes, pale signals, and cold light. I wanted the body to feel held together by tension and pause, as though its outline had settled there over time.

A horned form emerges between muted rectangles and warm fragments. I wanted the body to feel as though it had been assembled out of pauses, as if memory were slowly choosing its shape.

I built the body from quiet blocks of color, letting the horns hold the memory of weight. What stayed with me was not movement, but the pause before it.

A seated cat emerged from blocks of color and small hesitations in line. I wanted the image to hold both brightness and pause, as if memory had been arranged into shape.

A face appeared in pieces before it became a person. I followed the distance between two eyes, letting color and line hold a quiet rhythm.
