Windmill in Sunlight, 1908
Piet Mondrian
Oil on canvas, 114 x 87 cm
a day in soft motion. no rush, just rhythm.
I just love the almost-symmetry: it looks like each side should be mirrored, but in reality, they are wholly different patterns, not bisected, but separated by the dividing line. I’m proud of this photo :)

I had a lot of fun this past weekend working with both old friends and new friends I met at Global Game Jam NYC. We created a visual rhythm game in roughly 44 hours. My art for it is on Behance, along with a link to a playable version (from desktop only at the moment, I believe.) Microsoft was very generous in offering us a space to work as well as free food and the people from Playcrafting were great too! Check it out here.
