I don’t see Error being in a romantic relationship ( ᵕ ˶°ヮ°˶ )

Sure, you two can do romantic stuff, but it’s very rare

Error’s love language are quality time and a bit of gift giving

He likes when you two can be in the same room, doing different things in silence and not bothering the other

Or the Antivoid, if you brought your stuff, when you come to visit or he invited (kidnapped) you because he missed your presence

When Undernovela is on, he would make you watch it with him on his beanbag with some distance and share snacks (He takes all the chocolate)

Long talks together mostly just him yapping / ranting about destroying Aus

For gift giving, he would make you dolls or something crocheted. He gives it to you while claiming he was just bored and wanted to make something (He’s shy, just go along with it)

If you give him something in return, he’ll be put off guard and give you a quick thanks while hiding half his face in the scarf, looking closely at the item

One of his hobbies is crocheting and If you want, he could teach you how to crochet

You ask him, he’ll have a small goofy smile of his face for a moment (Point it out and he’ll get defensive)

However he’s not really a…..good teacher. You’ll have to be a fast learner or else Error will get irritated with any small mistakes you make

If you already know how to, great ! You two do crochet sessions together. He’ll share some of his strings if you run out

Error might be interested in trying your hobbies since you participate in some of his.

Due to Error’s haphephobia (Fear of touch), physical affection is extremely rare

If you’re a physical affectionate or touch starved person (He’s touch starved too), there are ways to try and help him

If he trusts / feels very comfortable around you, he would sit closely enough that shoulders are touching / hold hands or pinkies / hugs for a few seconds by wrapping his arms around your shoulders so you don’t move or hug back

In the early days of your relationship, he only use his strings or grab the end of your sleeve to get your affection attention

Error is… a paranoid individual. He appreciates a partner who is honest and (very) patient

Long distance / Secret relationship trope

Stating the obvious first, You two are not going to see each other often since he’s busy protecting the Multiverse from Nightmare and his group

Speaking of Nightmare, Dream would like to keep the relationship low profile / fully secret so Nightmare won’t find out and try to hurt you

Will keep it a secret from some of his friends (Ink is most likely one to accidentally spill the beans if he knew)

No PDA unfortunately (He’ll smother you with love and attention in private)

Dream’s love language are words of affirmation and acts of service

He likes giving you compliments and praises. His words are always gentle and poetic

And It’s no surprise that Dream does things for you. He would help you with anything you need !!

He naturally matches with your energy / emotions

Dream is a busy guy and he’s not going to be around a lot so you’ll have be very patient

But that doesn’t mean he’s neglectful !! He’s not trying to be. Anytime he comes back from a mission, you’re the first person he goes to see

Whenever he comes back, he would collapse on to you in a hug and rest by cuddling for hours while talking about how you been doing and catch up

He brings gifts from his missions, things he knows you will like and in rare moments, hides the gifts in random places in your house to surprise you (He likes seeing your face light up, he thinks it’s adorable)

Deep down, Dream feels guilty whenever he’s gone for too long on a mission and leaving you to wait for him to come home (But no matter what, his job comes first)

You two can try to stay in touch when he’s away, but I don’t see that happening to be honest (｡ᵕ ◞ _◟)

Texting won’t work, because Dream doesn’t know how to use a phone (He’s ancient leave him alone). It’ll probably break during a battle anyway

Letters could work if you’re already living in the Omega Timeline and trying to convince (bribe) Core!Frisk to deliver a message to Dream like messenger pigeon /J

Dream when Core!Frisk delivers a letter (from you) to him:

If he has spare time, he would write back to you ! It’ll be written in cursive and scented with your favourite flower

Core!Frisk would get quickly tired of being your messenger, instead they’ll just tell you how Dream is doing if you start to worry whenever he’s away for too long (Probably for the best)
