It  didn't  look  like  much  from  the  outside.  The  dull  matte  obsidian  made  the  ship  lack  a  certain  luster.  Which  only  made  her  miss  her  ship  more.  Violet's  used  to  have  pink  accents  with  some  red  stripes  on  the  hull,  making  it  immediately  recognizable.  When  she  sold  it  for  scrap,  she  cried  her  eyes  out  for  days. So  many  memories  circled  her  mind.  Anakin's  reactions  to  her  personal  setup  often  made  her  chuckle,  as  she  remembered  how  he  argued  with  her.  He  flew  her  a  few  times  and  crashed  twice.  It  ended  in  screaming  matches.  Ani  felt  bad  enough  that  he  walked  into  the  Jedi  Temple  hangar  bay  to  find  him  making  custom  modifications  and  forfeiting  sleep  through  the  night  to  do  so.  Vi  missed  him  so  much  that  it  caused  her  sleepless  nights,  and  she  mulled  over  the  little  details  of  what  she  thought  was  his  disappearance. Stepping  inside  Casimir's  ship's  entrance,  she  paused  to  soak  in  the  surroundings.  There  was  a  sense  of  regalness  about  the  decor.  An  air  of  wealth  and  experience  all  hit  her  in  the  face.  She  could  only  roll  her  eyes  behind  her  shades  as  her  heart  lurched.  Following  him  into  the  cockpit,  she  shrugged.  "I'm  stronger  than  I  look."  How  much  more  different  could  it  be?  She  hadn't  experienced  too  many  hyperdrives  that  were  not  the  standard.  "I'll  be  fine.  No  need  to  fret  over  me."  The  sooner  they  could  leave,  the  sooner  she  could  find  her  older  brother.  That  was  all  that  mattered.  Anakin  had  to  be  still  out  there.  If  he  was,  she  owed  him  more  than  an  apology.

Anakin  couldn't  warn  her  before  destroying  the  whole  kriffin'  complex?!  Ducking  as  another  piece  of  metal  came  flying  at  her,  she  managed  to  sidestep  it  with  a  crouched  twirl.  Violet's  lip  twitched.  This  was  way  too  much  chaos  for  her  liking.  And  with  it,  there  went  plan  B,  C,  and  D. Running  beside  the  padawan,  she  pointed  to  the  closest  building  that  wasn't  on  fire.  "I  feel  them  in  there!"  Whoever  they  were,  they  were  shit  scared.  "You  really  have  to  ask  that?!"

"Well,  the  nexu  is  outta  the  bag."  Violet  shrugged,  appearing  almost  indifferent,  but  inside—  she  was  buzzing  with  excitement.  Her  very  own  saber,  she  would  finally  make  one.  It  was  the  one  thing  she  didn't  expect.  Anakin  taking  her  under  his  wing  was  another.  Never  mind  Obi-Wan  teaching  her  the  basics  of  the  Jedi  code.  And  she  was  more  accepting  of  the  Order  because  of  it.  "Not  really.  As  a  child,  Terver.  .  .  My  uncle—  he  kept  me  away  from  other  kids.  I  never  did  tell  you  he  wasn't  the  one  supposed  to  be  raising  me."  Vi's  lips  spread  thin  as  she  remembered  he  told  her  specifically  that  the  Jedi  were  no  good.  "I  really  don't  know  what  his  real  intentions  were  for  defying  my  father."
