lmaoooo definitely not a neurosurgeon! I'm going into neurology, so more on the diagnosing and medical side. That surgery life isn't for me - I spent most of my surgery rotation dying to get out of the OR 😂They'd be all 'there's a cool case in OR 12 if you want to stay a little longer!' and I'd be like 'oh awesome!' and walk right past it to the locker room

Hey babe! It's definitely on hiatus for now but I routinely come back to stories that are 4+ years old lolol and I might have a decent stretch off for Christmas this year, so nothing definite! No plans to pick it up within the next few months, though :/ Thank you for checking in!

9 days from finding out where I’m going to go to residency, ahhhhhhh! Things are going pretty well, just navigating the craziness of tying up loose ends in med school and figuring out which of three incredibly different cities I’m going to end up in next. If I ever finish this godforsaken story stay tuned for the potential sequel, SMA: San Francisco/Philadelphia/Chicago! Hope you’re all doing okay xx

Gaaaaaahhh, thanks so much, love! I saw all of your reviews and it genuinely would make my night seeing a new notification pop up right around 11ish :) I was finishing up my ED rotation and I was on nights so it’d always hit right as I was pulling into the parking lot for a shift! Made me remember how fun it is to write that fic and engage with all you guys - hopefully I can write the rest of 18 before July and get my SMA groove back! Bonnie and Damon are about to go off. Anyway, thanks so much for the kind words; y’all are an absolute joy to write for and I miss it.
