I CAN HELP!! First, symptoms are entirely physical/not important or significant to shifting. The only reason you felt your senses in your DR back then is because you perceived it to be a symptom/sign. Second, you donât need to focus to shift, or even a method. I totally understand that we, as humans, perceive that achieving a goal requires focus and work/a process, especially if itâs something as âspecialâ as shifting, but it really is a made up idea. The âprocessâ is an illusion, which isnât to say that it isnât ârealâ, but itâs just not important or integral to anything. If not being able to focus means to you that you canât effectively complete a method and that means you canât shift, you wonât shift, because thatâs your subconscious perception.
Two ways I suggest. First way: If you want to do a âmethodâ, pick one (or make one) that doesnât require focus, or one in which losing focus is the entire point. Pick the method and affirm that it always works for you no matter what. If you wake up and say âIâm still hereâ, WRONG. Itâs just an illusion. Itâs already worked. If this sounds illogical to you, good. Thatâs the point. Nothing about awareness can be quantified by logic. The whole principle of shifting is your awareness being all there is, which defies âlogicâ. Keep affirming. Your words are all there are.
Second way: skip the method. If you really perceive focus to be the point of a method, then you need to disconnect the idea of shifting to a method/process, because, in truth, it isnât a process. What we call âreality shiftingâ is the conscious decision to shift to a reality which is usually quite different from what we are currently aware of, but shifting itself is just a name weâve ascribed to a natural phenomenon intrinsic to awareness. We are aware of one ârealityâ. In a millisecond, more things have changed than you can possibly comprehend. Bacteria die or multiply, a butterfly flaps its wings a certain way, etc. When our subconscious perceives something to be âtrueâ, reality obeys. For example, when it is ingrained into our subconscious since childhood that money is scarce, then money will be difficult to attain in maturity, because the subconscious shifts to such realities, even if your conscious mind is working hard. We subconsciously shift constantly to the reality we are currently aware of. It isnât special, really. It isnât even a goal. Itâs a decision.
âReality shiftingâ is the conscious decision to shift to a reality of our choosing. The bit that makes people annoyed is the fact that it is a decision. Itâs annoying, but itâs true, although itâs not a traditional kind of decision. Regular shifting that everyone does is subconsciously done. What we expect/believe to be true, we see reflected back at us. Like I said, when our subconscious believes something to be âtrueâ, reality obeys. The trouble people appear to have when shifting is this: the conscious decision has been made but the subconscious decision has not been made. They decide, but the subconscious attempts to argue back with useless doubts or figments of logic because the idea of reality shifting is framed as too special, to supernatural, to be real, and concludes that reality shifting is not safe to trust or believe in. The mistake is made when you conflate what your subconscious says with âtruthâ by engaging with it as an argument. Your subconscious is here to keep you safe, but that doesnât mean it always does keep you safe or is rational, even when it seems to be. So people âfailâ to reality shift when they conflate subconscious doubts with truth and revoke their conscious decision by taking what their subconscious says to be valuable/valid. How it really works is this: you make the conscious decision, and, inevitably, your subconscious follows.
Skip the method. It was all made up anyway, just your perception of it made it effective. Exhibit A: the fact you thought symptoms mattered made you aware of your senses in your DR. In fact, Iâll bet that you subconsciously considered shifting to be something special and that didnât align with your subconscious perception that you werenât compatible with âspecialâ. Well, fine. If you want to still consider shifting to be special, you need to recognise that you are also special, if only for the fact that you have decided it, that you even know about shifting. You can even be special because I have decided to reblog your post. Literally anything works.
My advice, though, is to skip the idea that it might be special. That might be hard for you right now (it was hard for me just two months ago, too) but look at it this way. You are shifting right now. Visualise reality right now as falling away like sheets in the wind. Close your eyes. Listen to whatâs around you. Every gust of wind, someone taking a step on their creaking floor in the apartment above, somebody knocking on your door to deliver a package. One sound after the other, as the last sound falls away in the wind, just like a sheet of paper. Thatâs shifting. Thatâs what you need to relate it to. And, see? You just existed. Thatâs all you needed to shift. You are shifting now. Internalise this, because this is the truth.
If you doubt that this is gonna work, I want you to know that so did I. It finally âworkedâ for me literally a week ago (although it really worked for me when I first made the decision, because decision=having it), and I was entirely apathetic and clueless at the point that I made my conscious decision.
How I did it: decided that I had it. Because I do, You do too, which is the insane bit if you think about it, because everyone does whether they are conscious of it or not. When âdoubtsâ came up, as they are prone to when your subconscious likes to argue lol, I did not argue. I dismissed it. Just not true. Duh. Name it if you want. Call your âdoubtsâ something silly, because theyâre not really doubts. Theyâre just nonsense. Theyâll try to seem logical and practical, but logic has no effect here, no sway or influence, no power, because your awareness is not bound by human rationale. Not even humans are bound by it. Thatâs why âchanceâ exists.
If you donât trust yourself to decide, then trust me. You were willing to trust anyone on tumblr to give you advice right? Iâve decided it for you. Done. (Big tip: if you can trust a stranger on tumblr, you can trust yourself. Tell your subconscious that.)
And finally, what is it exactly that we have decided we have? We decided that we shift whenever we want, always. Which is true. If youâve done the visualising that I told you to do, then you already know this, whether you think so or not. If youâve havenât done so yet, go back and do the visualising and listening to the sounds around you. We are always shifting. Now you are shifting whenever you want. That is all there is.
Release the frustration because you already have it. That might take time, but time is just an illusion, like sheets of paper in the wind, like realities themselves. Read: illusion â not real; to oversimplify, consider yourself to be a notebook that never runs out of paper and realities to be sheets of paper. You tear page after page out, like you go from one reality to another, kind of like a flip book animation. The point remains: reality isnât as impenetrable as we make it out to be. Even if all we see at one time is one sheet, there are still more.
Youâve already got this,
