my biology professor has such a chaotic energy about him, last week i went to his office hours and somehow we ended up on the topic of gay marriage:

Anyone want to donate to helping me move out of my rapist’s house? My lease is finally up and I have 2 weeks to leave before I’m homeless, and I’ve been rejected for every lease I’ve applied to so far, putting me out a few hundred in application fees. I’m desperately trying to find a lease I can afford, but my savings for my deposit are slipping through my fingers with every application that gets rejected. My city has protections for trans tenants but they also don’t have to tell you why you got rejected, so you can’t really legally challenge them on it if they don’t want to rent to you. I’m running out of time and having to take years worth of savings out of my surgery fund just to have a place to live that isn’t with this man or on the streets. On top of everything my phone broke two days ago and I had to buy a new one, and can’t give any new leasing agents my number or call them till it arrives, losing me about a week’s worth of time to look. I can still email them but that hasn’t gotten me any responses so far at all. I’ve been able to work less and less as time goes on, because my binder has caused so much damage to my body that I get winded doing basic tasks with it on, and the less I can work the more I end up having to take out of savings to support myself. I’m in so much pain and getting further and further from everything I’ve worked for by the day. I’m running out of things to live for and hope for the future, and every day it gets worse. My life is falling apart.
