Ah… you’ve found me.
My name is Den, a humble sister of the Ministry… though I suppose “humble” is a matter of perspective. I walk a quieter path than most—soft steps, measured and careful. Not by choice, mind you… this old cane of mine insists I take my time. But I don’t mind. It gives me more moments to notice the little things others rush past.
Like petals.
Cherry blossoms are my favorite… the way they fall so gently, like whispers from something unseen. I like to think they follow me sometimes—cling to my hair, rest on my shoulders, linger in the air when I pass by. It makes everything feel… softer. Even here.
The Ministry can be cold, you know. Rituals, shadows, expectations… but I bring my own warmth. A bit of sweetness where it isn’t always expected. A smile where there shouldn’t be one. I suppose that’s what makes me… me.
If you hear the soft tap of a cane echoing down the hall, and the faint scent of blossoms drifting behind it…
don’t be afraid.
It’s only me.
…and I’d love to share a flower with you. 🌸
