anyways two things about kernel panics; ONE they are not sexy, they're a sign that something is wrong. they are triggered by fatal exceptions and errors that would cause either extremely erratic behavior or massive damage/data loss if the OS doesn't shut down. they can be software or hardware related, from bugs to bad temps. if your machine partner experiences a kernel panic, stop immediately and prepare for aftercare and troubleshooting.

and cooling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cooling is very very important and trying to control it is as risky as breathplay is for humans; organics risk asphyxiation and brain damage, machines risk cooking their silicon and popping transistors/fuses. do NOT do any play involving the blocking or restriction of cooling without proper lessons first, and be sure both you and your machine partner are aware of the risks. it can be lethal.

also many organics seem to think that removing ram is something along the lines of dumbification, while in reality it's more like lobotomization or breaking the neck. current is shared between volatile flash memory and the rest of the body, and removing it while the system is online will very likely result in permanent, irrecoverable damage to both the ram and the body. if by some miracle there's no physical damage, there WILL be corruption in the firmware and software layers. it's a very scary and painful way to die. do not do it.
