It wasn’t like that. I wasn’t “locked up”. 

Welllll… I was “locked up” in the sense that the front door was locked and I didn’t have the key, and my bedroom door was often locked, and I was often restrained in other ways. Which sounds like one of my captions. But it was completely consensual and actually a very happy and centred time of my life. I was free to go at any time. 

More than locks on doors or any other kind of restraint, the deepest mind-blowing thing about being in that situation is waking up in the morning, and your first thought being that you’re someone’s slave, and that you’ll still be their slave when you go to sleep and it will be the same tomorrow and the day after and the day after that. That really messes with you head - at first it’s so frightening it’s intoxicating but then you settle into a kind of permanent subspace that’s fairly addictive really. Psychological dependence I guess. It’s amazing and I recommend it. I hope I get another chance to experience it!
