I agree with Mrs. Strever, and maybe you could blend your hair in a little. On mine, I even did inside of the hair so you can see the background in between it, and I think that would look good and emphasize your face/hair.i really like how your sunglasses look. Good job(:

My favorite of these is the third one (blue) they're are really cool, but I think the blue fits the picture really well (especially your white shirt) and look good with the branches. I feel like the green is almost too harsh in a way. There's a lime color in there, but the blue ones are more subtle.
I really like both of these, good job. I think the bottom one(in my opinion) is cool as a picture and the top one would be really awesome as a painting on the canvas. It's really calming and the colors are very calm and soothing.i like how the background is somewhat tilted too.its not as busy as the bottom one, which I like. Good job
I really like this, the colors are pretty and go well with the filter you chose for your picture of yourself. I like how the trees are barely visible on the bottom, and it's very balanced. I like how there's nothing on the top because that would be too much.
I like the background colors but I think it should be blended a little more. At first I didn't see your face (it's by the right hand at the bottom for anyone who doesn't see it either) and I really like the colors, they're really calming. The puddle is really cool,and the shadows add a lot to the composition. You can tell its water and it almost looks like you're drowning in it.maybe on the right hand you could blend it in more. It looks good
I made a yin yang eyeball, showing the balance I see everyday, and the actual yin yang itself shows balance. (A circle on each side, and black and white) if you cut it in half, it's a mirrored image of the opposite side. I really wanted to keep that in my final product, because that's the whole point of it. In my prior posts, I showed my sketch book investigation. I started with a pig and evolved to the idea of an eyeball. (Don't ask how, look and see my thoughts) I sketched it out on the lino block, and then cut it out. I tried ombré type prints, basic black and white, and mirrored images. Then, like I did with my culture project, I tried "doodling" or adding designs in one of the eyeballs. I liked it, but it wasn't too balanced. Then, I added dots all over a black and white one. I thought it was too simple and threw it away, but later on, I got it out and really liked it again, I'd say my favorite is the dots or the mirrored red and black/white one.
Hese are my photos I edited on juxtapose. We live by a trail, and I took all the pictures of nature, then sat down on the ground and looked at them all and brainstormed. I thought of how I could incorporate myself in them, and here's my final products. My favorites are the bridge ones. The emphasis is on me, and the bridge is over water, so it's like I fell off and am trying not to fall in.
I'm very indecisive about what I'm going to do; I started with a pig and ended with an eye. I still kind of want to do a person, but if I do an eye, the emphasis will be the eye, and the outer edges of it will most likely be black and the eye will have designs in. I was thinking about a yin yang because it's black and white, and you could want to see "balance" in the world. Or I was thinking about doing a tear, and the tears morph into something. (Like the morphing project we did last year) Or paint drips..
In this picture, there's a lot of balance, because it's lighter in the middle and darker on the outside. The picture flows upward, and your eye goes to the bottom middle first. I really like how to black emphasizes the bright colors, and the texture almost makes the picture look like foam.
