What an amazing day today!!! We had such a blast hanging out in Cedar Rapids! They visited Coe College’s art department. They also went to the ceramic center and made some artwork themselves. They enjoyed lunch then went to the art museum and were able to see some art by Grant Wood, Picasso, Mattise, Andy Warhol and many other great works!

I added some repetition to my piece. :)
There are so many! I like certain things about every one. My favorites are the ones underwater, especially the ones that make you look like your swimming. All the colors work well together, and the effects make it look like your underwater. If you narrow it down to one or two, we could help with improvements.
For some reason, I dislike the background. Like Mrs. Strever said maybe your could combine your hair and the background. Although, I like your hair also. Tough decision. I like your sunglasses though.

When I first saw your very first idea, I was scared. It was so random, but I can see the repetition and the balance now. In the background the colors are perfect. Your limbs are a perfect color, too. If I were you I would make your face whole, but I guess that's your decision. I like your idea of the separateness, but your face should be in there. :)
I live the background! The colors in the clouds make it a very beautiful and peaceful composition. If you blended yourself in more, you wouldn't stick out as much. With such a serene background, the picture of you has to match that. Beautiful idea!😍
I like the combinations of colors in the background; if you made yourself fit in more it would be great. You should try to combine both pictures into one. Right now it looks like two separate pictures. Otherwise, I love the background!
I like the idea of the composition. Maybe you could do something with the puddle or the pavement behind the puddle. At the moment it looks simple, but it's a great idea. I love the colors! Make sure you make your head bigger😉

Juxtaposer:)
These photos show my process in accomplishing my surreal picture made with the app, Juxtaposer. I took a lot of pictures of a puddles, chose my favorite, and decided how I could incorporate myself in the picture. My original picture of the puddle I liked most has trees in the reflection, along with rocks and a tree root. After I picked my favorite puddle picture, I simply changed the filter in the photo app. After a lot of thinking of how to incorporate myself, I decided I wanted to make myself look like I was falling from the sky into the puddle. This proved to be a hard picture to replicate. If I was standing it looked as if I was flying not falling. If I was laying on the ground, it looked like I was falling flatly. I tried to compromise between standing and sitting; I lifted my head and arms slightly as if I was truly falling. I then used the simple Juxtaposer app to photoshop myself into the puddle. I easily changed filters, opacity, and brightness to make it seem as if I was actually in the picture. My puddle picture, my falling picture, and the end result are all shown above.
These are the pictures showing the process I went through to accomplish my composition (Lino print). I chose the lion to be my main focus, because it is often recognized for its strength and loyalty. I brainstormed many ideas to bring the lion into my Lino print. I chose a composition with half of the lion's face showing, with it's mane fanning out form its face. While I was stamping my lion; I used different colors and tried to make a collage. The colorful lions proved to be too much when put together with another. I then decided to go with the traditional black. Looking back, I would have filled in the right lion's eye better, to match with the left lion.

My lino print's subject was a lion. I have three different examples with different types of characteristics of a lion. I'm not sure if I would like water or not, or if I would want a lot of detail in the mane or not. I'm going to have the lino print be vertical and have only have the face show.
