fr the most part he was raised by his sister- his fathers like. a fucking freak and stayed mostly in the bigger towns of the isles so he and his sister just vibed on their own because fuck u
i dont think malaguin would have ever let the Tristan Incident go even after tristan boated back to cornwall. hes an annoying brother in law and we have to understand this. galehaut is constantly plagued with jokes about tristan beheading him in a way he didnt expect. galehaut loves him but i dont think he hasnt debated about throwing him into the sea
this ones also canon and ive wrote a fanfic about it but what the vulgate doesnt mention is galehaut has to be REALLY good at helping unharness lancelot like. he does it so often. hes the sole reason lancelot doesnt have back problems from sleeping in armor
i think galehaut has the Old Gay instinct to just adopt literally every single young kid he meets . i think while lancelot parents in his . own special way galehaut would dote over galahad soooo fucking much . also gareth who he already in the vulgate likes…… i just think theyre so neatÂ
