 emil’s a naturally kind of nervous person. a lot worries him. days are more bad than good. he likes to take his time and nap out in the graveyard where he lives. he likes to smell dew on the grass. he enjoys nature, enjoys small things in life. he enjoys silence. unfortunately, it’s not all that easy to obtain. the other three often shout and argue behind him, and he finds himself curling up and trying to sleep more often than not.

 emil laughs like the world might come to an end if someone hears him. he muffles it behind his hand, politely, and quietly, and gently. he closes his eyes as he laughs, and turns his head. his laugh is far from bad, in all actuality. it’s high, bright and bell-like. it sounds like a thousand instruments in tune. it sounds sweet. it sounds as sweet as illness and mould and things rotting in the pantry. it sounds beautiful and deadly and unknowable. perhaps his laugh will ring at the end of the world. perhaps it will be the last thing you hear. perhaps.
