Usually controlled breaths stagger and pitch, like a sail fluttering in the winds of an oncoming storm. His head tilts slightly away from the kisses leading up his neck, followed by a bite just shy of his ear. It makes him all too compliant to remove his captain’s coat, his hands moving away from Deitrich for but a moment in order to let the fabric completely rest behind him instead of draping merely around his arms.

It’s rare that he lets someone else take the lead, rare that he lets another keep a hold over him, rare that he lets someone take the reins on him. But a part of him can’t help it. It feels instinctive, feels natural to give in, to lean into Deitrich’s touch, to let him feel the fluttering pulse of a dead man given life and Truth for but a moment yet again.

“You’re so beautiful,” he manages to say past shaky breaths that he struggles to keep his composure with. A single moment of praise before he falls from grace.

⤗ Deitrich knew Raphael liked pain. What he didn’t know is that, apparently, a little bite would turn Raphael into mush. It’s intriguing, and while he doesn’t normally take the lead the lead like this, Deitrich is rather curious how far he can go. His gaze briefly lands on the discarded coat full of daggers. Something to keep in mind (though he’s not sure if he’s quite ready to bring blades into this just yet).

As usual, a compliment has Deitrich preening. He spends quite a bit of time on his looks, so of course he’s quite happy to receive such a compliment.

“As are you,” he replies. “But I believe you’ve said something like ‘you’d look even better in a fit of ecstasy’ before. I’d have to say I agree.” A small pause as he considers their situation. “But I think there’s better places to do this than a chair.” Especially if Deitrich’s going to top. He’s got his own bravado to keep up now, and sitting in a pirate’s lap isn’t exactly going to cut it.

There’s a shudder down his spine as his partner purrs such praise back at him, only to show off sharpened teeth at him and then bite at his neck just enough to hurt. He knows that in the past that he’s the one that’s taken the reins, the one who has shown Deitrich a good time and let the witch relax, but if Dei keeps going like this, he’s not sure he’ll be able to keep up with this bravado he presents all the time.

Hands slip underneath his coat, and though it may have not been visible before, it wouldn’t be all that difficult to find a few of the hidden daggers that the heavy fabric conceals and makes him still look like the ever flamboyant and sashaying figure he always is. The hand that’s under Dei’s shirt moves now to brush his fingers along his stomach, gentle, in a way their previous nights weren’t, while his other hand shifts to inside rest on Dei’s inner thigh.

“Do you want to take this slow or do want this to be fast?” He breathes out; it’s the first time he hasn’t just taken control.

⤗ Deitrich follows the bite up with a smaller, gentler kiss. It’s unusual that Raphael isn’t jumping into this, but Deitrich can take the lead if he needs to. Besides, he’s never been much of a pillow princess.

There’s definitely a lot of daggers under that coat, but they’ll just get shed with the coat that Deitrich’s trying to push off the pirate’s shoulders right now. Hopefully Raphael doesn’t feel the need to keep any of those on his person around Deitrich, though the witch won’t be offended if one is snatched.

“That so?” He can’t deny the shaky shudder to his breath that results of the kiss to his neck. “Anything specific, or am I supposed to figure out on my own?” He asks, even as one hand trails up Deitrich’s thigh to his hip, then slipping underneath his shirt. Dei’s not the only one who wants to get laid, but then again, Raphael kind of always wants to get in bed with someone.

⤗ Deitrich pulls back enough to peek at Raphael’s face through half lidded eyes. He knows the man would certainly never say “no” to this, it’s just a little piece of him wants Raphael to say “yes” because it’s him. Not just because it’s sex.

“I think you’re catching my hints well enough, Raphael,” he purrs. His coy grin reveals those slightly elongated eye teeth of his, a little hint that he’s not exactly human. They aren’t particularly sharp, though. Just something that’s definitely noticeable, especially when Deitrich returns to Raphael’s neck with an affectionate bite. It’s meant to hurt, though it doesn’t draw blood. Raphael likes pain.

⤗ “You might be able to,” he says softly. Lips graze light along Raphael’s neck in response, just a hint of what he really wants. He knows it’s a bad idea to keep doing this when he’s not sure what Raphael wants out of their relationship, but sometimes you just can’t help yourself.

⤗ "I mean, it hasn't really changed. I think he trusts me a little more now, which is nice. But it's still just a hookup so... I guess possessive. I like when he gets aggressive, when he acts like he owns me. I like when blood's drawn, I like when I can barely breathe, I like when I'll probably be bruised in the morning."
