Thanks to @phurpurr for the questions!
What's Silver's favorite food?
Silver's favorite food fluctuates a lot, but it's most likely blamco mac and cheese (their comfort food is power noodles though).
If Silver had to choose one, would they choose eyebots or securitrons?
Eyebots 100%. ED-E is the first pet/friend they've felt comfortable being around aside from the occasional petting of a cat or molerat in their youth. Before that, they did not think they were an "animal"/"animal adjacent companion" kind of person, and that's not due to any real trauma, they just don't like taking care of animals for longer than it takes to toss food at a stray. ED-E is a "pet" they felt like they could communicate with, which made him leaving all the more hurtful. They did freak out in a "omg they're real" kind of way when they first saw a PDQ-88b, first with Victor, then with Yes-Man when they realized they could be hacked (when their father told them about securitrons, they thought he was pulling their leg)
How did Silver deal with the Legion + the Legate?
They see the Legionaries as action hero movie henchmen kinda people, as in mindlessly eliminating them without thinking too hard about how they ended up in that situation is fine because they're the "bad guys", which comforted them since the events of Fallout New Vegas is basically their hero fantasy. Good thing everyone agrees with them and it's true most of the time. Honestly I want Vulpes alive for the Fort but idk if there's any scenario where they DON'T immediately kill him at Nipton, so I would probably have to tweak that.
For once, I don't want to spoil something so I won't say how they dealt with the Fort...
As for Lanius, Idk if I ever actually mentioned this in fics even though I have brought up the scar a few times, but Silver and the Legate "kill" each other at the same time, as Silver gets a shot right into the eyehole of his helmet and he impales them with the bumper sword. It's a super serendipitous moment and they are very sure they are going to die, which they (FALSELY) assume is their destiny even if they didn't mean to sacrifice themself (to be completely clear they do not see it as a sacrifice and instead a means to get things done/wasn't expecting to "die"). Idk if it's a spoiler or not, but I feel like the things leading up to it are more important than what happens then because again, their story is split between the hero fantasy and the aftermath of it, and I find the aftermath more interesting.
What dlc would you say is the most impactful on Silver as a character?
Dead money is the most impactful when it comes to how they apply it to their outlook on life as a character and relationship study, but it's intentionally in a vacuum, though it does have affects on their decisions going forward whether they know it or not. The most relevant all the way through is Old World Blues. Honestly I need to replay Lonesome Road and idk I don't really want to think about having to rewrite Honest Hearts LOL. Another problem is that there's a character from Silver's past is similarish (not exact but similar motifs) to both Ulysses and Joshua in some aspects and I am unsure how important he's gonna be, but honestly I think I COULD make a Lonesome Road work (now that I think about it, running away from one's guilt theme could work, here) but I would have to tweak it. Okay but if I remember correctly Ulysses thinking Silver having a stronger connection to the divide than they did since he doesn't know their M.O. of doing shit then fucking off (well he does, but probably doesn't know they fully intend to do so every time) COULD be interesting as a cap to their story hmmm...
If Silver was an animal, what animal would they be and why?
There's a running inside joke Silver has with Benny about being a "dolphinshark" (what they call the "whales" that can sometimes be found beached in Fo4 "would you love me if I was a dolphinshark" kind of questions), but that's mainly just to mess with Benny about never seeing an Ocean before. I haven't put a lot of thought into it but I do think they'd be an aquatic mammal.
If you had to pick one song to represent them, what song would it be?
This is a REALLY hard one. I have a lot of songs that represent parts of them, their and Benny's relationship/the "arcs" they go through (I'm gonna out my completely predictable music taste here, but "Ancient Aliens" by Lemon Demon has and always will be the Dead Money song for me lol), but I think the most relevant would be the last ~1:30 of Hayloft II (note that the whole song isn't relevant, only the last part and not entirely literally but also it's like, it's so related without actually being related it's hard to explain) when it comes to songs that represent them, and even then, it's more of a representation of their early childhood than anything else. Mainly because the "she's not a bad kid -> they're not a bad kid" shift is also like really in character when it comes to their identity at the time, it's also something they have to assure themself a lot of when thinking about how things turned out and how they do not feel bad about it (and feel guilt because of that). Also the last part of The Mind Electric but everyone says that because it's a banger and I've ranted enough about that song not again!! (lol)
