never ever not lived with my wonderful parents (mom died 5 years ago, feels like yesterday)(i’m 25) and my dad finally got a new house he wants to move into soon. i’m puking and shitting and anxious than a mug. my dad is the best dad ever i’m sure, and i want nothing more than him to have his happy fresh start. we’re all anxious tho. it’s a huge change for all of us after years of huge changes. my brother and i are staying in our family home, which i love this house even tho it’s not in detroit LOL. it’s the last place my mom lived and now it’s gonna be the last place we all lived together.

i’m very scared/excited. the scariest thing is that idk how my relationship with my dad is like when we’re not in the same house. i think it’ll be good for my own growth and independence but also i don’t wanna live away from my family (literally he won’t even be far but still).

it’s all happening within the next month or so, so we’ll see how it goes. wish me luck digesting these changes y’all.
