After meeting in Bridgeport, Judy, Byron, and Zarek left together to attend university. There, a new chapter of their lives began: lectures gave way to evenings spent in cafés and bars, picnics, house parties, and long walks across campus. Judy devoted herself to sports, Byron focused on business studies, while Zarek became increasingly drawn to art, creating comics and searching for his own artistic style. In the university dormitory, he met Naia - not his neighbor, who, over time, became the closest person in his life.

Zarek’s childhood was spent close to his father, but most often in waiting for him to return from work. Yan devoted his life to medicine, and after long shifts he would often seek rest among the lights and nightlife of the metropolis. Zarek, from an early age, was drawn to creativity: he drew comics, dreamed of the stage, and later found himself in music. With age, traits of his extraterrestrial origin also began to emerge, along with a love for bold self-expression and a desire to stand out. Over time, the son set off to find his own path, while Yan continued living his habitual life. They were rarely similar to one another, but each, in their own way, managed to become who they wanted to be.

Muriel grew up in a difficult family and learned early to rely on herself. Thoughtful and slightly reserved, she was always drawn to order and understanding how things worked. Over time, she moved to another city, became a detective, and later went into forensic science. There, she met Yan Rivera, a medic, and at first they were connected only through work and a shared desire to put everything in its place. Their relationship developed quietly and steadily, until something strange happened shortly before their wedding: Yan was abducted by aliens, and it soon became clear that he was expecting a child. After the wedding, they had a son, Zarek, whom Yan decided to keep, but this gradually created tension in their lives. Later, Muriel gave birth to two daughters, Marisol and Ruby, but over time they drifted apart: Yan stayed with Zarek, while Muriel remained with the girls, and each of them went on to live separate lives.

Judy grew up in a loving but difficult family. Her father’s early death left a quiet mark on her - sometimes painful, but ultimately something that pushed her forward. Charlotte did everything she could to give her a happy childhood, and soon Roy entered their lives, becoming a steady support for many years. Judy was an active and lively child, passionate about her guitar and football. It was during music classes that she met the somewhat brooding Byron, who would later become an important part of her life. Over time, she chose sports and settled into a calm, simple life in Bridgeport.

Robert and Ginger are twins who have spent their entire lives together. Robert is a gardener and an environmental advocate, while Ginger is a talented chef. Both found love and started families of their own, but a secret about their spouses shattered their warm family harmony: Erwin was born as a result of an affair between Adam and June. Now Lola and Daphne are almost grown, while little Erwin is being raised with love and care. And despite everything, Robert and Ginger still remain close - as a family that holds on to each other until the very end.
