Simply My Life.

So today I went to a job interview...as much as I'd like to think it went well, you really never know what the interviewer is thinking. There have been plenty of interviews I've been attended where I truly believe that I have the job in the bag, only to never get a call back. I'd honestly prefer if people told me up front that they either don't like my face, don't think I'm qualified, or just don't believe I wouldn't be a good fit in the environment. As much as society may not agree, I think people need more truth in their life. If you don't like me tell me why. If I care about your opinion then I'll do something about it; however, if your opinion has little to no meaning to me I'll probably tell you fuck off, although I'm sure your words will stick with me through the day, if not longer. Moral of story here is I hope I get this job and people should just be more upfront.

So to begin this lovely journey of a blog, here's a quick bio: I'm a 22 year old gal just trying to make it in this world one day at a time. Luckily, I have my trusty cat to join me along for the ride. We live in a lovely townhouse, in a good neighborhood, with my fantastic (pure sarcasm) roommate a.k.a. my ex-boyfriend who dumped me a month into our year lease and a day before thanksgiving this past holiday season....joy! For the most part, as the bitterness has passed (not really but I've learned to deal), we generally get along. Of course this is with the exception of his adorable yet asshole dog urinating on all my shit every chance he gets, him reminding me what a horrid roommate I am almost everyday, and the joy I'm overwhelmed with every time I buy groceries only to find they have already been consumed by my lovely roommate. I also have a slightly crazy mother who decided to up and quit her job while I was on vacation last month simply because she no longer enjoyed it, this same women is now moving in to my home this upcoming week to live with me, my cat and ex leading us to probably the worst reality tv show possible. This is only the beginning, enjoy....
