I believe combining these in one post makes more sence, as for now I'd like to leave a possible connection on the table. I'm adding my guesses in bold

Nevertheless, my heart is a bit broken once again, because, yes, I wish things could magically get better with a kiss and a night together. But there’s no happily ever after before you fix yourself. I do project my own personal issues here as well. Sure, it’s coping. And I must thank authors for the brilliant narration they provide us with. I hope every lovebird on Revenge can heal eventually. And find a mutually pleasing path to be together with their significant others.

Oh, I wish…

I know that Lucius' proposal to Pete was one of the highlights of this week on OFMD. But I believe it’s a premise to some drama. Let me explain

Pete doesn’t get the new disenchanted Lucius. He’s toxic. He’s unstable. Yet Lucius proposes to Pete in an attempt to go back and recreate his old self

But kindness hasn’t worked with his PTSD before. Neither with his amputation nor with his abandonment. And you know who gets both issues? Who can turn his aggression into flirting? Bring that sorrowful spice to the table? A literal origin story of Lucius' villain? Oh, boy…

He won’t be happy to realise it. And I’m somehow convinced they will go down with their mutual attraction. It’s been there for some time
