i'm not mad at how 8x04 ended last night. would it have been nice if hailey was honest,💯. is it realistic that one would lie about confronting their abuser,💯. will be interesting to see how they navigate her abuse in their relationship. + that opening was 🔥

i think hailey took a lot of steps towards healing. the fact that she even went to see her dad is massive. can't force it. the audience doesn't even kno the whole story. i'm proud of her. also she asked jay to meet up w/her later. so she's not shutting down.

all I wanted to do was hug her watching that ep. Its was excruciating to watch. I can't even imagine. seems its time for her to face it, feel all of it, let jay be there for her. to find some measure of healing.

most people have no clue how to deal with someone who has been abused but then add to the fact that they are now seeing each other. Jay is gonna stumble his way thru in support of Hailey. His dad stuff is not like her dad stuff. ugh its so deep.
