I had the absolute pleasure of working with the wonderful Arryn again on this piece. I had fun with the details in this one~

La serenata
I have never heard anyone talk about this one scene in moa and it makes me so mad because it's so wholesome and important to the plot

Last time this came around I showed my three year old and he said "He's little like me!" and stared for a whole minute (v. Long in toddler time).

The White Rose by RenĂŠ-Xavier Prinet (French, 1861â1946)
Good neighbours (1885) by John William Waterhouse
frank literally got stabbed through the chest with a sword multiple times in son of neptune and still survived because he's cool as fuck and op as hell but no one wants to talk about that
and yet it's crickets from the fandom. you guys don't know a fucking baller when you see one
I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while theyâre growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think theyâll get bulky as though bulking isnât a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density đĽ
if you say women are intentionally nerfed from birth in 2026 people look at you like youâre insane and start condescendingly telling you about how women are just better at different things (but not during their periods haha) but this was a completely basic feminist talking point I grew up with like âgirls can do it too! [shot of little girls climbing and running with boys]â nickelodeon commercial tier base level I hate it how is everyone suddenly dumber than the average 7 year old
as a disabled person, i know what itâs like to not be able to work. thatâs why this disability pride month iâm partnering with every single printer,

hello! I came across your blog and I just had a question to ask if you donât mind lol.
oftentimes around the discussion of taboo topics in fiction, I often hear about it can affect you because what you consume will have an affect on you as a person. After all, you are taking in information, and even subconsciously your brain can take matters from fiction and consider it fact. I didnât explain it well but hereâs an essay talking about it (with sources) https://www.hilarylayne.com/p/you-are-what-you-read
I just wanted to know your stance on it because it could be a problem if people arenât mindful of how they read books. This topic fascinates me and I always want to learn more thankssss
quoting what Iâve already said before on this blog:
â if someone lets fiction affect their reality enough to the point they think bad things in fiction are okay in real life and start hurting real people (or start accepting it when bad things are done to them), because the bad things are portrayed as good things in fiction, then chances are thatâwith or without the fiction they consumeâtheyâre already troubled and they need help. but their inability to separate fiction from reality is not artistsâ problems or responsibility. artists are not their parents or babysitters.â
fiction can affect audiences in the sense that it makes audiences be emotionally invested in it. it can even teach and help audiences understand some things better. but for normal people, fiction doesnât affect them enough to the point they abandon their entire moral compass and start harming other people because of what they consume in fiction alone.
Iâve been a fan of Hannibal for years, and so are millions of people all across the world. and no sane person has actually started murdering and eating people because they watched and enjoyed Hannibal.
I saw someone deadass demand an AO3 author to "post evidence" by recording a timescale or showing "real edit dates". Like how artists show their process of painting.
What are we COLLECTIVELY smoking? This is insane.
yeah this is just dystopian. fanfic writers donât owe anyone anything. artists donât owe anyone anything (unless they want to share the process themself). especially when you (general you) are privileged enough to get FREE contents to read and consume. if you donât like it, if you suspect itâs ai-generated and if it bothers you, quietly leave.
this âwitch hunting and demanding xyz from someone whose writing/creation you get to consume for freeâ is not only entitled and toxic but also damaging to the community youâre claiming to protect.
I donât think these people actually care about the harm ai can cause. they only care about the possibility of themself accidentally reading an ai-generated fic and no longer being âmorally pureâ. itâs like the satanic panic from the 80s but make it modern.
