keep saying that until it turns into a cheat week, and eventually a cheat month.

I was looking over some of my favourite moments or hints between these two, and while searching through @aitaikimochi ‘s page, I actually came across many others I hadn’t seen before, and was given a really nice surprise! As per request, I’ve translated a small excerpt from the Boku No Hero Academia Vol. 2 Chapter “Various Study Sessions” with Bakugou tutoring Kirishima. This takes place in the library, and Bakugou keeps on giving Kirishima vague answers, but then he actually SMILES AND LAUGHS at Kirishima, who’s flustered that they’re being too noisy in the library. I’ll translate the full excerpt with Bakugou & Kirishima later, but for now enjoy the snippet~

Kirishima held his head in frustration.

Bakugou really was a genius, capable of understanding anything just by glancing at it. He had no trouble when it came to studying. However, since Bakugou didn’t know what studying hardship was, that in itself was hard for Kirishima to wrap his mind around.

Bakugou then said to Kirishima, “Okay here, all you gotta do is completely obliterate and conduct this calculation and then absolutely freaking SMASH the other calculation and that’s it. You’re done!”

It seemed like he was actually trying to teach Kirishima properly, although not effectively. Hearing Bakugou give Kirishima such rough advice, a lone tear trailed down his face as he gave him a big thumbs up. He exclaimed, “THAT WAS SUCH A MANLY WAY OF TEACHING!”

Bakugou, confused, said, “Eh?”

Bakugou drew together his eyebrows and looked at Kirishima’s expression and narrowed his eyes at him.

“Wait a minute, idiot…don’t tell me you don’t even know the multiplication table and want me to teach you that?!”

Kirishima shouted, “I KNOW HOW TO DO THE MULTIPLICATION TABLE, DAMNIT!!!”

Oops. Everyone around them glared at the two as they raised a finger to their lips to hush them. Without thinking, Kirishima used the loudest voice thus far today and because of that, he embarrassingly turned red. Bakugou looked at Kirishima and let out a genuine pleasant laugh.

“Man, you’re so lame haha!”

“Well, you’re the one who said I didn’t even know the freakin’ multiplication table!!!”

Kirishima then apologized to those around them once more.

Inktober Day 4: Agust D

Okay, today was such a hectic day, I barely had time to breath… so I scribbled this while taking my train home from work.  Hopefully I will have more time in the coming days.
