I say this with love but also judgment; if you’re cross tagging 3d posts with tags such as ‘girl blogger’ or fucking ‘Lana Del Rey’, you’re part of the problem when it comes to the online 3d space. Us posting here in our own niche, privately tagged communities is fine- people choosing to seek us out is on them, not us. However when you start using very popular tags that have huge audiences- especially minors, then you’re choosing to not only expose vulnrable people to triggering content, but putting the rest of us at risk, and contributing to an already horrible online reputation.

If you really want to double dip- I do too, then make a side blog, don’t interconnect it with your 3d blog, and if it really means that much to you? Make another account. Seriously. I have a separate one for my girblogging shit, I also have a side blog for fanfiction because I can deal with that. Part of being in this online community means keeping it safe: we keep each other safe by policing creeps, and hiding likes/followings, but we also have to keep other people safe by making it borderline impossible for them to see our content unless accidently, or through their own volition.

We have every right to be on here too- lord knows I’ve seen genuinely degenerates have more freedom than us on here, less blogs annihilated despite genuinely hurting others, but we do still bear responsibility to actually tag our shit properly, put spoilers up if there’s genuinely gruesome content, and not directly put innocent people at risk of seeing our content unwanted. I feel iffy about using Twitter for this exact reason, hence why I seldom post on it. All I’m saying is tag shit correctly, follow basic internet etiquette, and we might actually lose less people. Thank you for coming to my rant <3
