Phil didn’t help break Dream out because he plans on working with him more. The prison break was a favor (Technos favor) and the perfect representation of what they fucking STAND FOR? Anarchy means dismantling the machines that exploit and kill your fellow man, but it doesn’t mean you have to LIKE your fellow man.

There is an adoration for humanity, and it’s something cPhil is coined for (at least in my eyes). He loves people, he wants people to be happy. He destroys the things he knows to hurt people, like government and prisons; he does not like everyone, but he will save everyone from tyranny. Love for humanity as a whole, yes including the people who hurt and hate, is what’s important Right Now. He can love individuals later. He needed to prioritize the destruction of the prison, an establishment that Harms and Tortures people without caring the elevation of their crimes, so he helped to dismantle it (via taking away its most prized prisoner, who despite being an awful person, is still a Person).

Idk I just don’t get how you can call someone a hypocrite for doing…….. a surprisingly morally good thing? Help to destabilize an establishment meant to kill, regardless of who it’s killing, because it’s Killing and That’s The Issue. The problem isn’t who it’s hurting, the problem is that it’s hurting period, which means it has the capacity to Do Worse.
