Sam's kid: Uncle Cas,why don't you have a wife?

Castiel: that's because I'm gay.

Sam's kid: What does that mean?

Castiel: it means that I like boys not girl.

Sam's kid: then why don't you have a husband?

No one on this show ever once says their sexual orientation. Why do we demand more proof for Dean than other characters?

So, if we know that Charlie is a lesbian because she says, “he’s not my type because he isn’t a girl,” why don’t we know Dean is bi because the siren who appears as each guys sexual fantasy is a man for Dean?

If we know Max is gay because he goes on a date with a bartender and learned to flirt with a man why don’t we know Dean is dating Crowley because everyone calls it a summer of love, and because they canonically sleep together to the point that Dean thinks Crowley’s bed is his, and they have a stereotypical break up (it’s not me it’s you) in a gay bar.

If we know that Caesar and Jesse are a couple because when Dean says they bicker like brothers Caesar corrects to “more like a married couple.” So, why don’t we know that Dean is with Cas when his dad says, “I thought you’d have a family by now,” and he thinks of the cannotically gay angel and the son they’re raising together and says, “I have a family.”

When Ash is waiting naked with party lights on for Dean, and is disappointed when Sam is there, when Dean tells him to put on pants… why actually is that treated less seriously (and less sexually) then evidence that Dean had a one night stand with a woman?

I know...but Destial was my first MlM ship that I ever felt so strongly about, and I still felt so upset at seeing it sink.
