The thing about watching Riverdale for the first time in 2026 is that with all of the memes and the shipping nobody ever properly conveyed to me that this show is fucking good actually. Like it's so fun and sincere. I'm laughing with it and at it and also crying sometimes. The script is insane and the actors are all delivering it like they're up for baftas. And most importantly it has Betty Cooper, the greatest television character to ever exist
