Nope, unfortunately, I don't have one; however, I can lore dump about the merfolk kind in this au and roughly tell you how Vincent's life was until this point. I'm omitting some stuff due to spoilers.
Merfolk separated from humanity at an unknown point in the very deep past. Their average lifespan is 800~ years, with a very low birth rate.
They have behaviour and morality different to their land cousins, almost alien due to having animalistic and otherworldly features. They can understand language but struggle to understand human customs and rules, or don't care about them at all.
They are immune to illness and almost exclusively die of old age; however, they can also die from wounds they can't heal or by other means. Some are uncommon, others almost unheard of.
They are born when a couple of merfolk decide that a place should have a merfolk population, or if they want to share their knowledge with their descendants. The merfolk don't develop too much attachment to their descendants. Once they are born, they live with their parents until they can take care of themselves and are knowledgeable about their own kind; after that, they part ways and usually never see each other again.
Their diet may depend on their own appetite or their animalistic features, from herbivores to carnivores and more. Despite having common ancestry, merfolk can devour humans with no problem if they want to.
They are nomads by nature, being able to cross entire oceans and live on different continents during their lives.
They are also magic users:
Glamour magic
They have an otherworldly beauty and can even improve it with glamour magic.
Hypnosis
They also have a hypnotic voice that they can use to influence the will of other people. Merfolk can only be slightly influenced, while humans can be completely hypnotized.
With that ability, they can also implant fake memories or make people believe a statement without questioning.
They have other abilities, but those will be explored later.
He is 200~ years old, late twenties in human standards and young for merfolk standards. He grew up and lived like an average Merman, having lived in a few places before.
Just like Canon Vox, he is obsessed with showing how great he is to others and also being feared by the puny humans.
Yet then he becomes absolutely intrigued and fascinated with a specific human he met at the Louisiana bayou…
