⚰︎ i'm a college student !! i'm double majoring in english literature and studio art and double minoring in art history and european studies (it's a lot, i know) (rip) (i'm very stressed) but i'm graduating in december, so suppeerrr excited about that :0

⚰︎ postgrad i plan on focusing on my artwork. i'm an oil painter and fibers artist that concentrates in figure painting and weaving. i attribute the themes and concepts of my visual art to those seen often in italian renaissance, elizabethan, and gothic literature. these involve institutional critique, playing with the tragic and the satirical, and exploring the “condemned” archetypal figures in literature

⚰︎ i read ~a lot~ (if that wasn't obvi lmaoo). for a while it's been mostly philosophy, african american protest fiction, and literature that deconstructs political messianism and institutionalized christianity

⚰︎ music is a very big part of my life and one of the main ways i explore my identity. it's also incredibly influential to my art. i've been in the metal scene for a while and have listened (extensively) to just about every sub and sub sub genre. but i've settled into doom, funeral doom, sludge, and death metal (my fav band is candlemass) :) also, i lovveee deathrock and postpunk

⚰︎ i'm married !!!! i love my partner very very much and am incredibly happy and fulfilled by my relationship. that being said, i've observed that ppl online and irl don't care that i'm happy (lmao) and will ask very rude and invasive questions, whether intentionally or not. so, i will not respond to or tolerate questions of this nature
