*Then he notices Daeron and Aerion, each facing a corner of the hall*

Egg: Mother found out that Daeron took me to a tavern and shaved my head. I followed Ser Duncan *Dunk nods nervously* and was his squire until Aerion broke Tanselle's fingers and Mother punished us all.

*Maekar had avoided his beautiful wife's gaze until then, Dornish fury emanating from her, her arms crossed over her chest*

Visenya was unhappy with Rhaena's birth because it strengthened Aenys's position as heir at the expense of Maegor. Suddenly, Aegon placed the tiny newborn in Visenya's arms, and when the Princess opened her eyes, Visenya was pulled into memories of the past when she was a little girl and her mother held Rhaenys in her arms for the first time.
