While the ambiguity and omissions around Maurice and Mike do frustrate me and in turn make a lot of their scenes lees powerful (like the reconciliation in episode 9).
I do wanna take a moment to celebrate the queer reppresentation that the show actually has, whic is quite a lot and all in main roles.
Starting off with the Queen herself, Angela (played brilliantly by Savannah Basley), she is such a fan character: intriguing, complex, caring and cold at the same time but always twisted.
Ashely (played by Marguerite Hanna) is a true scene stealer in my opinion, their brand of dead pan oddness is amusing as hell. Smart, driven and a true loyal friend... going down the rabbit hole with them is always a plausure.
This is Nikki's world (played by Christin Park) and we just live in it. A violent vampire assassin that likes to skip around in the park humming. She toys the line between innocent and sinful. Can't wait to see her relationship with Ashley evolve.
Honorable Mention to TODD (of all people...), who in a rare moment of vulnerability flirted with Maurice, who seemed into it.
