me, like 3 times within the last week or so: omg I finally finished my suit jacket mockup I can finally start making the actual first jacket from it
me: *proceeds to adjust one last thing on the pattern that then requires me to redo (a part of) the mockup*
#sewing#pattern drafting#suit jacket#why am I like this ToT#but I think it actually is the last big one this time!#and it was necessary the collar was too loose and then the whole jacket was hanging weird when open#and the pinned version is already doing much better on both fronts now#so now I just have to take like 90% of the mockup apart to remake the front hoping that my pattern alteration worked as intended#NO BIG DEAL AHAHA HA HAHA HA#I rly thought today was gonna be the day I had gotten out the interfacing and everything thinking I'd get to cut it out today ToT
