This isn't a bad point, Interpreting bill as being dysphoric in his current state doesn't necessarily mean that he would not also feel dysphoric in a human form. Im not sure I'm articulating it well but when I made this post I was thinking a lot about bill's canon relationship with humanity, and the way he seemed to be written in a few of the human bill aus I've seen.

I've noticed that Bill's inhumanity seems to be really emphasized in fan works, and the idea of being forced into a human body is a form of ironic, karmic punishment. Which does make sense. Bill is very much not mortal, and this is something that informs a lot of his character. He also hates being stifled, he talks about human life in a very irreverent way, and his first appearance possessing a human body in the show has him become very quickly overwhelmed by the physical limitations that come with it.

But I was also really struck by just how much bill seems to actually identify with humanity, and how little this interpretation is explored in comparison? A major theme in the book of bill is the way that Bill uses irony and irreverence to downplay how he really feels about things. He downplays his own guilt, he downplays his emotional intimacy with Ford, he downplays his desire for companionship, and, in my opinion, he also downplays his investment in humanity and this dimension as a whole. His personality is completely entrenched in human pop culture and media references. He's seemingly enamored with human cultures and their taboos. The more we see of bill the more he seems less like an unknowable horror, completely disconnected from anything resembling human, and more, at his core, like just a really weird guy. cringe, even.

This show had ZERO fucking oversight it’s actually good

There’s an entire section of just among us VR

The animation for the imposter is noticeably better than the rest of the show

There’s a 12 Angry Men bit

Most of the crewmates hate capitalism

There’s completely unnecessary amounts of blood and sorta brutal deaths

The characters cuss and occasionally flip each other off

Absolutely dumb visual gags

There’s an entire half an episode where they get high on oxygen deprivation and hamster pile naked

During that same bit one of the crew mates is just played by a guy in an inflatable costume in front of a green screen

A lot of progress has been made on the zine layout, but there's still work left to do. All of the pieces are in the zine, but some of the written pieces need final touches, and the table of contents and credits sections are partially done and need to be finished. Our formatting mods are hard at work trying to finish everything that needs to be done.

Pudgy has located all of the merch boxes, and these are the pictures I've received so far. One other piece of merch, not pictured here, was printed wrong by the manufacturer and will need to be reordered, but the timeline for that will not take longer than the manufacturing of the zine itself, so that shouldn't cause any additional delays.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we try to straighten things out and finish this thing once and for all. The mod team has been constantly dealing with unexpected hurdles both in zine logistics and in our personal lives, which has made things difficult, but we are trying our hardest to get this zine and merch out to you guys, and I will post updates as I have them! 🙏
