Like hm. I wonder what other demonized groups you hate because you believe in society's bullshit. Do you also demonize cluster bs? Schizospecs? People with behavioral disorders? Plurals? Queer people? BIPOC?

How many groups do you let society tell you are disgusting and evil, and then plug your ears and go "LALALALALALALA" and block out the noise when that viewpoint gets challenged?

Do you believe in "narcissistic abuse?" Do you believe in the "scary schizophrenic person is too dangerous for society" stereotype? Do you believe in the "people with ASPD are terrifying serial killers" stereotype? The "plurals are broken people with an EVIL PERSONALITY" stereotype?

Do you believe that black men are inherently more likely to commit violent crime? Do you believe that queer people are disgusting perverts trying to harm children and infiltrate vulnerable spaces?

Or is it just people with "scary paraphilias" you do this to, because you want one specific group to project all your hatred towards?

You do realize every single one of these stereotypes is nearly the exact same as the propaganda against people with stigmatized paraphiles, right? That theyre inherently abusive, "delusional", "serial rapists blending into society", infiltrating the vulnerable spaces, preying upon children? Yet somehow this...doesn't sound like propaganda to you?

You do realize that conversion therapy doesn't work, that locking people up for the "crime" of thoughts/feelings is authoritarian and helps nobody, and that any therapist worth their shit (as in, who is in the field to ACTUALLY HELP, not just for the money) will recommend to people with stigmatized paraphiles to find outlets (roleplay, fiction, vent art, etc)?

If your first reaction is to completely deny conversation and education on topics you aren't informed about, then to put it frankly, you aren't a trustworthy advocate or ally for any marginalized group. Because any of the groups you are advocating for can have intersectionality with stigmatized paraphilias.

For example, if you claim to be an advocate for black people, but demonize black people with stigmatized paraphilias, you're basically saying "well I think the government should be allowed to torture anyone who is black that is deemed to be a stigmatized paraphile" in which case racists will take advantage of this by accusing EVERY black person of having a stigmatized paraphilia.

The only way to be an activist for any group is to advocate against abuse of people with stigmatized paraphilias, and advocate for people to stop using "predator" and "paraphile" interchangeably.

The reason why stigmatized paraphilias are diagnosed at such a high rate in criminals is because they aren't tested in the general population.

More people have paraphilias than you realize, and keep it hidden out of fear.

Paraphilias are underdiagnosed in general groups due to stigma.

Paraphiles avoid diagnosis because they don't want to be institutionalized, thrown into conversion therapy, ostracized, and hatecrimed.

If autism was only tested in criminals it would be known as a crime condition too.
