in my therapy appointment last week, my counselor was discussing tarot cards and specifically brought up The Tower and The Star.

The Tower represents the last few years of my life, being terribly chaotic and draining, unstable.

The Star represents my life now, how I'm going through a type of rebirth and starting my healing journey.

At the time, it didn't really feel like that was accurate. Things still felt stressful and chaotic, and my mental health was spiraling.

But I can say for certain now, that I have started healing. This is my rebirth. I'm finding myself and figuring out who I want to be and what I want for my future and it's beautiful.

Some divine power decided this is my time to heal and I am so forever grateful. I don't know who it is, but I am so thankful. I am so blessed to have my friends and my support system.

Yesterday my therapist said something important about my alterhumanity. I asked them "How do you see me? Do you see me just as a human?", and they compared that question to the following situation: a painter creates a painting; he puts feelings into it. He exhibits the painting in an art gallery. People pass by that painting and describe exactly what they see, but logically, they cannot see the feelings behind that painting; they only see the surface of something much bigger. Now I know that my painting looks human, but that's just the surface. Now I know I don't have to worry so much about how people view my painting.
