i've grown and matured, at least i learnt to see things on more realistic angle, and gurl, no you're not going to be able to translate that game. what the hell did i thought

anyways, i have not given up on this account, i'll make SD graphics soon

because there are none

One is better than nothing. i'll continue my searches (oh, and i made some researches for the translations, and, i'm not sure of myself, but;;... i should be able to translate silent debuggers in french with what i found. I gotta test. I'll do an another post after testing.)

Hi ! My name is Lily, and first languagfe is French. I can understand english, and at some extent, speak it, but let's say that i'm better at understanding it than at speaking it. Anyways.

Recently, i played a game called "Silent Debuggers", it's a game that released in 1996 on the PC engine, or Turbografx 16 if you prefer. This game was hated by many, but a lot of people who played it loved it, and, oh let's just go straight to the point :

I want to tranlaste this geme in my language, so, in french, which is a country in which the turbografx 16 never was (officially) released.

The main problem i'm encountering, is that the game was pretty badly translated in english, and i don't understand japanes (yet). this isn't really a prolem, considering that i will translate it from the EN version first, and then from the JP version, so the OG one when i'll know more about it, THE REAL PROBLEM, is.....

well the problem is that the turbografx is a console that never was popular. like seriously. Did you knew that this console existed before this post ? if yes, you probably know that it only was released in the USA and in japan... which mean that the turbografx has an almost inexsitent modding community. if this modding community even exist..... Which is why i need your help !

i don't know if there are people that ever modified texts from games on the turbografx

so, if you know anybody that would be interested into a translating project, or people that know, well, how to ,,, man i'm forgeting how to speak english as i'm writting this, people that know how to modify text in turbografx games, or that woul like to help to discover how to do it, i'd be happy to talk with them ^^

it's been so long TvT...... mais aussi, poersonne ne s'intéresse a silent debuggers, alors j'ai légérement abandoné, lol.

J'ai daillleurs comme projet d'essayer de le traduire en français ! ce sera depuis la version anglaise d'abord, avec mes propres déductions sur les erreurs de traduction de cette derniére. Mais j'ai également comme projet d'apprendre la Japonais, pour diverses raisons, alors, aprés avoir déjà fait la version via la version anglaise, qui prouvera que c'est possible de modifier les dialogues, je referais la trduction via la version Japonaise, et publierais la rom.... Hmmm, je ne sais pas où.

Elle sera probablement dans un drive google, et je vous donnerais le lien héhé ^^

Enfin, ça, c'est a condition que je puisse le faire. La turbografx/PC engine n'a pas eu une giga popularité, alors c'est possible qu'il n'existe pas de logiciel du type de kurimu, donc servant a l'édition de texte in-game de jeu pour cette console en particulier. Kurimu ne sert qu'à l'édition des texttes de jeu de 3s si je me trompe pas. y'a des exeptions, mais bon, pas de plug in suportant la turbografx... De plus, qui nous dit qu'un tel logiciel pourrait modifier spécifiquement les fichiers de silent debuggers ?

En bref, tout ça est a voir. J'irais sur git hub, je surferais sur le net. Je trpouverais bien des gens qui voudrons m'aider.. Peut être... Aucune idée a vrai dire, probablement pas, mais ce qui est sur c'est que si je ne trouve rien de préexistant et que personne ne peut m'aider.. je serais dans l'impasse. J'ai aucune connaisssances en informatique, donc il trés peu probable que je sois cappable de programmer un tel logiciel

Faudrait déjà que j'apprenne a faire autre chose avec python que de lui faire dire "hello" T_________T

si vous connaissez des logiciels ou des gens qui sont intéressés par un tel projet, j'aprécierais si vous m'en faisiez part (le message fait bcp trop solennel là nn ?????? mdr c'est comme si je parlais d'un evenement super grave, genre le bataclan 2015 avec une once d'espoir.. wtf lol)
